Wind Load: Stringently tested to meet wind load requirements

Impact Resistant:

• Reinforced hardware throughout the door
• Designed to meet local building codes when ordered with proper wind load options – including Miami-Dade County

Polyurethane insulation:

• Models 5745 (901-905):  U-factor* of .15  R-value 12.12
• Models 5765 (906-909): U-factor* of .12  R-value 16.22

R-value: Overhead Door Corporation uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating properties.

Strong, sturdy doors:

• Models 901-905: 1 3/8″ thick
• Models 906-909: 1 7/8″ thick

Steel backing: For a clean, finished interior appearance

Durable finish: Hot-dipped galvanized steel with two coats of baked-on polyester paint

Bulb-type bottom weather seal: Guards against wind and rain while providing a cushion when closing the door

Our WindStorm™ wind load rated system is available on selected products to meet regulations for various wind speeds, ensuring your door is built to withstand varying wind conditions, including hurricane-force winds, and meet the most stringent local building codes.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​  See other wind-load garage doors.

Overhead Door™ Brand participates in the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program. The program verifies the thermal performance of sectional doors. The lower the U-factor rating, the better the thermal performance.

The symbol indicates a verified U-factor rating following the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program.
